To our members we are a lifeline - the thing that initially gets them through their day or week or something they look forward to every week. We provide them with a place they can feel safe and valued. We pride ourselves on helping people value themselves and the contribution they can make to the lives of others. We find help in the least likely of places, where society is often afraid to ask and our members volunteer in a range of ways: from peeling potatoes, to serving customers, to running groups to building furniture or making textile gifts.

Catherine, Hazel, Kevin & Usman from our staff team are taking on this challenge ( and it is a challenge, because none of us are that fit!) to raise much needed funds for our project, so we can continue to work with our members and provide the opportunities and support that we currently do.
