I’m stepping into the boxing ring for the very first time to raise money for Gift of Sight — a charity that supports vital eye research and helps improve the lives of people affected by sight loss.

A little about me: I’m a Clinical Research Nurse in Ophthalmology, so this cause is incredibly close to my heart. Every day I see the importance of advancing eye research and improving patient care, which is why I wanted to challenge myself in a completely different way to support it.

I’ve never had a fight before, so this will definitely push me out of my comfort zone, but knowing it’s for such an important cause will keep me going through the training and into fight night.
