Please help 6-year-old Jessica ride 6 miles to support a very special boy, her best friend, Sid, who is living with SMA.

Jessica is just six years old, but she has decided she wants to do something big to help someone very special to her.

She is taking on a 6-mile sponsored bike ride on Saturday 3rd October — one mile for every year of her life — to raise money for Sid and his family to make house adaptations and renovations they desperately need.

This will create a safer, more accessible and comfortable environment that is tailored to Sids needs. These changes will help make everyday life a little easier for Sid and his family, while giving Sid greater comfort, independence and the freedom to enjoy his home.

SMA is a rare genetic condition that affects the muscles and has a huge impact on everyday life. Sid has the most severe form of the condition, type 1.

Sid and his family face challenges that no child or family should have to face, and they need all the love, support and help they can get.

Sid is Jessica’s best friend at school and someone who holds a very special place in her heart.

Jessica wanted to do something to help.

When you’re six years old, you might not be able to change the world — but Jessica believes you can certainly try to make someone’s world a little bit better. ❤️
