Story
In the early hours of Christmas morning, my aunt Maria passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, following a six-week battle with cancer. In her final weeks, when other services failed us, Isabel’s Hospice provided the most amazing care and made her last month as comfortable and dignified as it could be.
The hospice team supported not only Maria, but all of us as a family. Their kindness, compassion and constant support made an incredibly difficult time easier to face, and we will always be deeply grateful for everything they did.
In April, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Isabel’s Hospice as a way of saying thank you, and to help them continue providing this essential care to other families.
Any donation, no matter the size, would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for your support.
