Toucan for Children supports children and young people who are experiencing emotional difficulties in their lives through providing therapeutic services using play and creative arts.

As a family we have really benefitted from the amazing work that the Toucan team do - they hear and speak the language of children through play and creative arts, giving them time and space and allowing each individual child to find their own way forward on their journey. We would love to raise as much money as we can for Toucan, so that they can offer their support to more children and young people. Sadly, the need for such support is great and growing, yet the funding to provide the support is not, despite the advantages of receiving help early in any emotional and mental health difficulties. By sponsoring us, you can be a part of improving children's lives now and for the future.

We love to cycle (as many of you know!), not only because it's good for the environment, but also because it's good for our physical and mental health - so a cycling challenge seemed an appropriate way to raise money! Our goal is to cycle 100km in one day during the Easter holidays, down the River Severn from Gloucester, across the Severn Bridge and back up the other side of the river to home. For three of us it will be the longest distance we have cycled in a single day so far!
