It's happening! I'm taking on my biggest challenge the London Marathon!

I’ve signed up to join Team Havens for the 2025 London Marathon, and I’m both excited and slightly terrified! 😬 This is way outside my comfort zone, but I’m doing it in memory of a very special friend Albert Hayden.

Albert, was offered a place at Havens Hospice, a bittersweet moment that brought relief to his family and friends. However, his admission was delayed, not due to a lack of rooms, but because Havens doesn’t have the funding to use all the rooms they have! Eventually, he was admitted and received the most wonderful care, surrounded by love in this amazing facility. He passed peacefully, with support and comfort around him.

Despite his 91 incredible years, Albert, was still playing golf and had a wit, charm, and zest for life that never faded. His strength and determination continue to inspire me, and it's in his memory that I take on this marathon.

Havens Hospice provides vital care for those in their final days, but they need more funding to ensure they can help everyone who needs it. Please help support this amazing charity by donating, your contribution will make a huge difference.
