Walking is vital to our quality of life, impacting everything from our health to the environment. That's why we’re committed to ensuring it’s a choice everyone can make safely and confidently. Together, we’re working to improve our streets, reduce road deaths and congestion, and enhance our health.

Story

It's National Walking Month in May so I am going to join the amazing Somali Men's Living Streets Group and walk 20km for Living Streets.

We all know walking and wheeling is good for our physical and mental health. But often people can't walk or wheel from their doorstop even to their local shop. Living Streets campaigns to change that. Everyone should have safe, accessible, beautiful streets to help them access the things they need and enjoy, by walking and wheeling - this is good for us, our community and the environment.

So on Sunday 25 May I will be walking to help campaign for safe and accessible streets. Any donation is gratefully received and put to good use. Our history on change for good is strong, with benefits for all members of our communities.
