As many of you will know in 2022 I was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma which is a type of brain tumour.

In Jan 2023 it took two neuro surgeons and 10 hours to remove 95% of the Tumour.

I spent 6 days in ICU in the Royal Victoria hospital Belfast where I was cared for by the most amazing nurses and consultants.

In the past year I have had to learn how to walk again and regain my balance and strength.

Now I have set my sights on completing the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 14th April 2024 after over coming one of the most life-altering years of my life. 🫶

I will be running to raise money for BANA, The accoustic neuroma association to raise awareness.

If you’d told me this time last year, when I was just a few weeks into my recovery, that Id be running a marathon by April the following year, I wouldn't have believed you. Anything is possible 💫💫
