Having never run further than 5k, and never run a race as an adult, it is the wonderful work of Masicorp supporting the community of Masiphumelele in South Africa, that has inspired me to take on this half marathon challenge. Their vital work providing education, health, and tackling period poverty aligns powerfully with Streatham & Clapham High School’s values and is a charity we have long supported.

Whilst I have struggled to keep going with the training, I’m so grateful to the girls, colleagues and parents who are doing the run with me in the spirit of our motto, Towards Wisdom Unafraid.
