I'm hoping that I'll still be smiling as much as I was the first time I ever abseiled when I make the Big Leap from the top of our very, very tall new hospital building!

Having worked at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital for 18 years, it feels like the new Acute Services Block has been a long time coming! The new facilities include our new operating theatres, and let us relocate our Critical Care Unit, Maternity Services and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit into purpose built accommodation. The amazing team that help make the magic happen as part of Bedfordshire Hospitals Charity are organising this fundraiser to help make our vision - for first class facilities in our new hospital buildings - a reality.
