On the 24th November 2023, we tragically lost our kind hearted, funny, animal loving, Summer.

Since Summer's death, we have also learnt that another of our students, Freddie Haynes, who died in September, also died of the same condition.

We are therefore raising money in memory of both of our students, who we miss so dearly.

With the wishes of both families, this year we will be running a number of fundraising activities to raise money for the charity of their choice, Cardiac Risk in the Young, which the family have worked with for a while.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
