Story
Having gone through multiple brain surgeries throughout her 23 years of life, Phoebe is one extraordinary young woman. We’ve watched her face these invasive procedures to remove a brain tumour with bravery and strength. Unfortunately, the brain tumour cannot be completely removed, but under the expert care of the team at Addenbrookes, she is maintaining a quality of life, as a young, bright student at Bristol University.
So raising money for brain tumour research, is what brings me to just under a month away from the start line of the Brighton Marathon.
Facing a marathon is hugely daunting, and although I’ve always run to some extent, a marathon has been my nemesis! But nothing compared to what Phoebe has faced multiple times throughout her life. And that’s what’s keeping me focused on finishing this. Anything you can donate would be amazing, and go towards funding research that one day might mean a cure is a reality for Phoebe. Thank you x
