Story

After the devastating news that Falkirk Council have withdrawn the funding for the Falkirk services, Town Break Dementia Support Services is facing financial challenges which sadly puts these lifeline services at risk.

Town break are working hard behind the scenes to try and keep these vital services in place. As of June 2025 Town Break lose all funding, which impacts the services that they can provide within the Falkirk District Area, leaving the Falkirk residents that rely on these services in an even more vulnerable position.

The Town Break Dementia Support group at Talbot House in Grangemouth was scheduled to close on Wednesday the 14th of May but thankfully after the generosity of the Talbot House by waiving their hall rental fee for the next 3 months, this group has been saved for now! ❤️ Although this is positive news for everyone at and involved with Town Break, they still face financial challenges after losing funding and need the support of our local community now more than ever! 💪

We, the families of loved ones, that rely on this essential service are still fundraising to support this outstanding Charity which has been a lifeline to the families and users of this service.

Dementia is a growing challenge, affecting 1 in 2 people in some ways throughout their lifetime. Whether personally, through family, friends, or colleagues. 💔

Please donate to help keep these vital dementia services in place in our community. ❤️

Thank you for everyone that has supported and donate to our fundraiser, we truly appreciate your support! ❤️ Please Share ❤️
