Story
My 25-year-old sister, Elinor Reid, has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, a rare form of non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Since her diagnosis and throughout her treatment so far, she has been met with nothing but kindness, compassion, and respect by the amazing haematology team at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
Eli is currently being treated on the Teenage Cancer Trust ward at the General, a dedicated space for 16 - 25 year olds that has given her access to other amazing charities including the Little Princess Trust, who provide wigs to all young patients and Maggies, who offer free support and advice in their centre.
This summer, I will be cycling over 1400km from London to Bilbao to raise money for The Teenage Cancer Trust to support the amazing work they do. Please give generously!
