In April, I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon, alongside my good friends Hazel and Sarah, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I don’t know a single person whose life hasn’t been impacted in some way by cancer, and Macmillan do amazing work in supporting patients, their families and friends, at some of the worst times in life.

I don’t want you to think for one minute this will be an easy challenge. Trying to find time and energy to run and build up to half marathon distance, over winter in the Highlands is not exactly fun! Thoughts of friends and family, living with cancer, or taken too soon, will make sure we cross that finish line.
