This year, as the cost of living crisis continues, we’ve seen a heartbreaking reality: cat abandonments have risen by over 38%. We know that hard times bring hard choices — but leaving a pet behind should never have to be one of them.

That’s why our mission is more important than ever. At Cats Protection, we’re here to support every cat and every owner who needs us — from offering advice and resources to struggling families, to finding safe, loving homes for cats who’ve been left behind.

This Christmas, we’ll be sharing “The 12 Cats of Christmas” — real stories of cats whose lives have been transformed this year thanks to your support. From frightened strays to much-loved family pets, each tale is a reminder of the difference kindness can make.
