Help Mike Heal: A Second Chance for a Brave Kitten

Mike, a young stray estimated to be around six months old, was found wandering alone in the local area to Dorset Cat Centre. A kind member of the public took him to a local Vets after noticing an issue with his eye. Sadly, he is suffering from untreated cat flu, which can cause eye issues including very painful ulcers and serious damage. Mike will need surgery to have his eye removed and prevent further suffering. However, right now is just not strong enough.
At the moment, Mike is receiving lots of care and attention as we nurse him back to health. He needs time to heal, feel safe, and gain confidence which takes lots of time, dedication and patience to support such a youngster.
The costs for Mike’s care and surgery are expected to be around £1200 with an eye enucleation alone costing £685. With abandonment cases rising by 34%, we are seeing more cats and kittens in desperate need of help. Your support means we can give cats like Mike the medical care, love, and future they deserve.
If you can donate, share his story, or support us in any way, it would make a world of difference. Let’s give Mike the second chance he deserves.
If we are lucky enough to raise above our target, any other donations will go towards the care of other cats that come to us. No amount is too large or small and every penny makes a difference to their welfare. Thank you so much on their behalf.
