Maeve's Story
Meet Maeve, an incredibly friendly and affectionate 11-year-old cat currently being looked after by Tyneside Cat Centre. Maeve came into our care in May, and after months of treatment and love, she’s finally ready to find her forever home!
Maeve is a special girl with a sweet nature, but she does have some ongoing medical needs. She was diagnosed with diabetes, which is managed with oral medication. While in our care, Maeve has undergone a major dental procedure and received regular blood and urine tests to ensure her condition is kept under control. Despite her health challenges, Maeve continues to show us how loving and resilient she truly is.
Unfortunately, the costs of Maeve’s care have added up over time. Since May, we have spent over £1100 on her medical treatments, tests, and general care. Now, we’re reaching out to our incredible community for support in helping to recover some of these expenses.
By donating to this appeal, you’ll not only help us cover the costs of Maeve’s care, but any funds raised above and beyond our target will go directly to helping other cats in need at Tyneside Cat Centre. Every little bit helps, and we’re so grateful for your kindness and generosity.
Even the smallest donation could make the biggest difference:
• £2 could feed a cat in our care for 10 days
• £5 could pay for worming treatment for one cat
• £10 could pay for flea treatment for one cat
• £50 could pay for a full veterinary examination for two cats
Let’s give Maeve the chance to find the loving home she deserves, while also helping other cats who might need our help along the way. Thank you for your support!
If we raise above and beyond our target or cannot reach our target, then the funds will be used to help other cats and kittens in our care.
