Girl Guiding Dunbartonshire is a group of Volunteers who strive to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our community, help guide them and share adventures from Camping to Pack Holidays....

In January 2023 our beloved Brownie House Catterburn suffered a Big Big Flood, and the building has been out of action for a year already. Yes we had insurance but it doesn't cover what we need to rebuild, and we also need a new roof.

Girl Guiding Dunbartonshire covers young people from Helensburgh, Dumbarton, Balloch, Clydebank, Milngavie, Bearsden, Westerton, Kirkintilloch and lots more areas in between. Over 2500 young girls get the benefit of being able to stay in this Brownie House for what we call Pack Holidays (Mini Holidays) where for some girls its the only holiday they may have that year, so as you can see its of great importance in the community.

Once repaired we are looking to hire it out to other community groups, who could benefit from having a break away. It really makes a big difference to Girl Guiding and all the young children in the community.
