Tujisaidie Self-Help Project Nairobi, Kenya

Cavehill Tennis club is organising a fund raising event at the request of club member Roger Thompson, who will turn 60 later this year. Roger works for Belfast-based charity CMS Ireland and proceeds of the event will be used to sponsor a free school meals project at the Tujisaidie School. This is a locally-run self-help project which provides education to 300 Primary aged children who otherwise would not be in school, and who often don’t get regular meals at home.

The main event will be a Tennis competition, pitting members of all abilities against each other in a format that will give everyone a chance to showcase their skills! There will also be an opportunity to measure Service speed – with prizes for the fastest….and the slowest! Refreshments will be served at the end, with awards to the tournament winners
