Thanks for checking out my fundraising page. Some of you might know that a few years ago I had the privilege of working for The Children's Bereavement Centre when I first left the RAF. It opened my eyes to the incredible work that charities do to support people day in day out!

The Children's Bereavement Centre will always have a special place in my heart, as I got to see first hand the incredibly important work they delivered to children at some of the worst times in their lives, when they have suffered a loss 💔

I will be running the Nottingham Half Marathon to raise vital funding for this wonderful charity, and I'd love your support to help me raise as much as possible so that children can continue to receive the support they need at such a difficult time.

I have done many running events before, but believe me when I say that doesn't make any event easy!

I haven't ran long distances for many years now, so this will be a huge struggle and challenge for me. Your donations will not only support the charity, but will also spur me on through my training runs and the event on that day.

I've never been a fast runner, but I'm going to make it even more of a challenge by attempting to get my times down to under 2 hours - This will be tough, but in my year of turning 40 I want to challenge the narrative on ageing, and show people that you can workout and even get faster at any age 👊
