Callum Buckley, Chepstow House is raising money for Gold Standard Charitable Trust

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

A team of Heads, parents, teachers and alumni from our partner schools are coming together to take on this Half Marathon, all in support of widening access to outstanding education. 100% of donations will fund bursaries for pupils in these schools.

Story

Having worked in both the private and state sector, I've taught children from a wide range of economic backgrounds and have witnessed firsthand just how much of a difference a bursary can make to a child's life; not only to their educational prospects, but to their personal and emotional wellbeing too.

The Gold Standard Charitable Trust is a stand-alone registered charity whose sole mission is to provide bursaries at schools like Chepstow House School, who I will be proudly representing in this race. Coming to school at Chepstow House is an extraordinary experience and the school is immensely proud of the opportunities it offers which have helped shape and transform the lives of so many pupils over the years.

The Trust does not have an endowment, so they work closely with School Heads and the broader community and rely on fundraising events and appeals - such as this Half Marathon campaign - to raise the necessary funds each year.

Every penny raised will go directly to support a child receiving a bursary.

Thank you!
