Story
The Anti Trafficking and Modern Slavery service in The Salvation Army exists to support and empower survivors of exploitation.
Modern Slavery is a cruel and hidden crime that is happening on our doorsteps. It is estimated that there are 122,000 victims trapped in the UK.
This is a cause very close to our hearts and collectively we have worked in this department for almost 12 years!
The money raised will go towards the Survivors Support Fund (see: Survivors Support Fund). This fund adds support to the survivors recovery and eases their transition into independent living.
We have used this fund to offer craft materials, white goods and uniform for new school starters. Your donation will help us continue to make these moments possible.
Please give what you can - and cheer us on as we take the leap!
Three of us have not jumped out of a plane before. Two of us are absolutely terrified. And One of us is wondering if this counts as cardio...
Thank you so much!
Ellie, Leah, Shanice and Will :)
