Center for Courageous Kids Motorcycle Ride

North Georgia Mountain Riders and Greater Gwinnett Motorcycle Club is raising money for The Center for Courageous Kids
Since 2008, CCK has been inspiring, empowering, and enhancing the lives of children (and their families) with serious illness by providing an inclusive, enriching, medically-safe, and fun camp experience for all! The best part is... it's at absolutely no cost to the family.

Story

Organized by NGMR (North Georgia Mountain Riders) and GGMC (Greater Gwinnett Motorcycle Club)

For children with disabilities and lifelong illnesses, opportunities to simply play, explore and connect can be rare. The Center for Courageous Kids changes that. In a world where children with disabilities and lifelong illnesses often hear "you cannot," CCK ensures that "they can." From horseback riding to fishing and archery, campers participate in activities without limitations, supported by an accessibility focused facility and 24-hour medical supervision. Every camper uses the same specially designed platforms and ramps, ensuring equal access to every experience – at no cost to families.

The Center for Courageous Kids was founded by Betty Turner Campbell, who, after losing her son to cancer, dreamed of creating a place where children with developmental disabilities and lifelong illness could simply be kids – a place of joy, normalcy, and escape from daily struggles. Thanks to generous donors, Miss Betty’s vision continues to grow, expanding camp offerings and ensuring that no family ever has to worry about the cost.

Your support gives our campers and families the chance to experience the joys of summer camp – at no cost to their families. One hundred percent of every donation directly funds life-changing experiences, helping kids build confidence, make lifelong friends, and enjoy activities like horseback riding and fishing in a medically inclusive, accessibility focused environment. More than just a camp, CCK creates a community of support for families facing extraordinary challenges. Through the generosity of donors, we’ve welcomed over 43,000 campers, from 46 states and 13 countries, creating lasting moments of courage, connection and joy.
