Raising £150,000 to transform Tall Oaks from a basic grass pitch into a new modern 4G facility — creating a permanent home for Dynamo Community Foundation and expanding opportunities for the wider community groups.

Story

At Corstorphine Dynamo Football Club, a registered charity known as the Dynamo Foundation (SC052411), we are more than just a football club-we are a vibrant community hub. For decades, Tall Oaks in Corstorphine has been our cherished home, nurturing generations of young people by providing a safe space to play football, stay active, and forge lifelong friendships.

Today, we proudly support 541 male and female players across all ages-from grassroots to over 35s and Walking Football-while also extending our reach through community activities that benefit local schools and groups.

However, the time has come for change. Our beloved grass pitch at Tall Oaks can no longer meet the growing demands of our club or the wider community. Frequent weather cancellations and limited access mean countless opportunities for play and connection are slipping away. We urgently need to transform Tall Oaks into a modern all-weather 4G facility that will serve as a permanent home for our players and open doors to expanded football programs, health initiatives, and inclusive activities for people of all ages.

This is why we are launching the Tall Oaks Redevelopment Fund" and participating in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2026 on 13 September 2026-a walk dedicated to raising vital funds for this cause. Our target is to raise €2,000 to kickstart this transformation. Every donation brings us closer to securing a future where Tall Oaks continues to inspire generations to come.

Join us on this journey. Your support will help us build more than just a pitch, it will help us build dreams, health, community spirit, and opportunity. Together, let's ensure that Tall Oaks remains a beacon of hope and activity in Corstorphine for many years ahead.
