Stroud Half Marathon 2024
Campaign by Longfield (RCN 298627)
The Stroud Half Marathon welcomes runners of all abilities to come together to challenge themselves to the 13.1-mile race, with streets lined by cheering crowds!

Story

My Dad was diagnosed with melanoma a couple of years ago and sadly this year it spread to his brain. In the last few days of his life, the staff at Longfield were invaluable in providing care to my Dad and support to me and my Mum. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them. Running a half marathon seems the least I can do to raise funds so they can continue to provide this care and support to other families who need it.

At Longfield Hospice, we continually strive to reach everyone in Gloucestershire who needs our care, often during the precious last months, weeks and days of their lives. We want loved ones to have a pain free, dignified and compassionate death, with the full support of our expert and committed team.

Longfield has delivered the best possible end-of-life care for over 30 years to many thousands of patients and families; and by supporting our Stroud Half Marathon 2023 Campaign and donating today you will help ensure Longfield Hospice is here for future generations.
