On my birthday, 7th Feb, I'll be running The Pendle Way in a day 45 mile ultra to raise money for Parkinsons UK as part of the Big Sky and Yes Tribe team!

In support of Em Cornthwaite, who was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease on her 37th birthday in August 2024, YesTribers and Big Sky friends are starting to take on wonderful challenges to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK, who are dedicated to supporting the lives of those living with Parkinson’s.

As a team, we're hoping to raise £50,000 which could fund a specialist Parkinson’s nurse post for a whole year, filling a critical gap in services and providing ongoing care for 300 people.

Em has been without a neurologist since diagnosis so Parkinson's UK and the local Lincolnshire Parkinson's Nurses have been a vital resource and support network for Em & Dave.
