Rock for Heroes: Celebrating Our NHS Nurses
I'm putting on an 80s rock night for Macmillian cancers support, at the electric circus in burnley. I want to target this and Nurses and other NHS workers.
This night is first and foremost about our NHS nurses and staff. They’re the ones who look after us day in, day out, and we wanted to do something to say thank you.
At the same time, we’re raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that makes a huge difference to people living with cancer and their families. Every ticket and every donation goes straight to them.
And how better to do it than with a proper Burnley night out? We’re bringing back the best of the 80s music — the songs we grew up with, the ones that still get everyone singing along.
On stage from 9pm, you’ll get the full live experience with LA80, https://www.facebook.com/LA80Two blasting out the big rock anthems. After that, the 80s Disco keeps things going ‘til late, so you can dance, laugh, and enjoy it with your mates.
Saturday 7th February at The Electric Circus, Burnley — a night for our nurses, for Macmillan, and for everyone who loves a good 80s tune.
To keep things simple and make sure every penny goes straight to Macmillan, tickets are bought by donating here on JustGiving. Just show your donation confirmation email at the door for entry. This way, none of the money is lost to online ticket sales companies.
Tickets are £5 for NHS workers (with NHS ID), £8 for everyone else in advance via donation here, or £10 on the door.
