Hi, my name is Celestine and in April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of ActionAid, an international charity working with women and girls to create a more just, equitable and sustainable future.

ActionAid believes that ending poverty starts with fighting injustice, and that means tackling its root causes: gender inequality, violence, lack of access to education and resources, and climate injustice. They work hand in hand with local communities, empowering women and girls to claim their rights and lead change.

This marathon is more than a personal challenge, it’s a commitment.

A commitment to run for those whose voices are silenced.

To run for women who face violence, for girls denied education, for mothers displaced by conflict or climate change, and for communities fighting every day for dignity and justice.

Every donation, no matter how small, supports long-term, transformative work on the ground led by women, for women.
