Story
Belton in Rutland's marathon running trio Celia Bloor, Linzy Wolloff and her husband Jon are raising money for the British Heart Foundation and are very grateful for your support.
Join us at Belton's Village Hall on Saturday 9th August for breakfast cobs, coffee, cakes and prize raffle from 9am. If you are able to help on the day or wish to bake a cake, donate a bottle or other prize, please drop us a line.
Having discussed various challenges we settled on entering the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October to showcase the running talents of the Church Street contingent of Belton in Rutland's thriving running community, and are proud to represent the BHF, a charity close to all our hearts!
Many of you will know that Celia and Linzy work closely with the British Heart Foundation at Leicester's Glenfield Hospital. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
It's only thanks to support from people like you (and us) that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us smash our target.
Thank you for your wonderful support!
