Eastleigh to Heywood: Walking 246 Miles, Non-Stop, for Solent Mind

This September, the whole Celsius Hire team is taking on something we've never done before: a continuous, round-the-clock relay walk covering 246 miles, from our depot in Eastleigh all the way to our new depot in Heywood.

No stopping. No pausing overnight. From the moment the first pair sets off, someone from our team will be out on that route, day and night, until the very last stint crosses the finish line, right as we open the doors on our newest depot!

Why we're doing it:

Good mental health matters to us, not just as a company but as the people who make up this team. That's why every mile we walk is raising money for Solent Mind, a charity that provides real, local support to people facing mental health challenges across our region. Every pound raised helps fund the services they provide right now to people who need them.

What the challenge actually looks like:

246 miles, walked in relay stints of roughly 10 miles each

Pairs walking together for safety and company, with a safety van never far away

Day and night across five days, some of our team walking in the dead of night!
