It has been a life long dream to compete in an Ironman and a moment of madness when I signed up to a 70.3 Ironman last year. My Mum is a huge inspiration in my life, she was diagnosed with MS in 2005 and I can count on one hand the amount of times she has moaned about her illness since then. She lives life to the full everyday and refuses for MS to define or deter her.

The MS centre locally in Dorset has been a huge support to Mum and also other local people living with MS. It has been a huge benefit for her emotionally and physically and a great place to have met people in a similar circumstance. They are currently raising money to buy a bike to help keep local people with MS active whilst at the centre so I felt this was a great cause to get involved with.
