Ceri's fundraiser for Awyr Las Gogledd Cymru - Blue Sky North Wales

Anglesey Half Marathon
In October 2024, my father, John Wyn Morgan, was diagnosed with cancer. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family.
The care he received from all the staff on Aran Ward and Dr. Newbould was outstanding. They did everything they could for him and for us.
Unfortunately, due to the aggressive nature of his illness, we received the devastating news on Friday, November 8, that there was nothing more they could do and he was now receiving palliative care.
He loved his home and had worked hard for years on his machinery business - home was where he truly belonged. The team arranged everything for us to bring him home, which was his final wish.
He enjoyed watching the air ambulance pass by daily from its base nearby. This charity was close to him and to our family. He lost his battle on November 13, 2024. I miss him dearly; he was such a caring and proud father.
After his passing, I found that running helped me take my mind off things, and it is a journey I have continued to honor him. In his memory, I will be running the Anglesey Half Marathon on March 2, 2025.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated for Aran Ward and Wales Air Ambulance, both of which are very close to my heart following the sudden loss of my dad, through the North Wales NHS Charity, Awyr Las (Blue Sky).
