In 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The team at the Centre supported me through surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and recovering, helping me regain my fitness post treatment. After a scare earlier this year, when the team supported me once again, I committed to running the half marathon when I got the all clear. So, I am giving it a go, running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise funds to support the Breast Centre that supported me.
