On the 12th July, we’ll be taking on the London 10K to raise funds for the Samson Centre for MS, a charity that means so much to us.

More than 20 years ago, following his diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis, Cerys’ dad, John, became a founding trustee of the Samson Centre. Since then, the Centre has grown into an invaluable, self-funded community hub, providing practical therapies, emotional support, and a sense of belonging for people living with MS across Surrey, South West London, and surrounding areas.

As the Centre receives no funding from the NHS or local government, it relies entirely on donations and fundraising initiatives to cover its annual running costs of more than £550,000. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps ensure this vital support remains available to those who need it most.

We’re running in honour of Cerys’ family, her dad, John, her sister, Ellie, who also lives with MS, and her mum, Marion, who is living with a brain tumour. The Samson Centre has provided each of them with care, support, and community during challenging times. We’re also running for the many other individuals and families whose lives have been touched by this extraordinary charity.
