Story
Back in November 2023 I stumbled across an internship opportunity that taught me all about an elusive animal. A civet. Following some time in this internship I was introduced to Wild Welfare. I quickly learnt that Wild Welfare are working tirelessly to protect captive animals across the globe, including the civet species I had grown to adore.
Almost 3 years down the line, I have worked alongside Wild Welfare to raise awareness for civets and all captive held animals, to promote high standards of care, welfare and in hand conservation.
On the 25th of April 2027, I will be running the London Marathon as part of team WildWelfare to help improve animal welfare around the world and be a voice for captive animals.
Unfortunately, across the globe thousands of animals are suffering from insufficient care, diet and enrichment. Wild Welfare is working incredibly hard to end this plight and improve animal welfare. Through their fantastic work and efforts, they are able to support animal care staff to create both immediate and long-term change, positively transforming the well-being of the animals in their care.
Your donation no matter how big or small will make a lasting difference helping captive animals in need around the world - from the elephants that everyone knows and loves, to the hard to spot civet that I continue to advocate for. Wild Welfare helps every species.
Any support will enable animals living in captivity not only to survive but thrive, helping to ensure they can live a life worth living!
From myself and Wild Welfare,
Thank you!
