CFBL Salon 2025- Art meets charities

J Lok is raising money for Turtle Foundation UK

CFBL Salon- Art Meets Charities · 10 June 2025

In our project areas in Indonesia and on the Cape Verde island of Boa Vista, we are working with the local population to better protect the sea turtles when they lay their eggs and in the coastal waters. This includes ranger patrols who use dogs and drones to deter poachers and teams of volunteers.

Story

At the CFBL Salon, we believe that art can inspire change. This year, our students have chosen to merge their creative expressions with a cause they deeply care about. Through our theme “Art Meets Charity”, we are raising funds to support marine conservation — a cause chosen by our students.

Our Salon highlights four marine charities:

1. Sea Shepherd

2. The Ocean Cleanup

3. Marine Conservation Society

4. Turtle Foundation

All donations through this page will go directly to the Turtle Foundation, which works to protect endangered sea turtles and their nesting habitats through community education and conservation.

From the youngest Primary students to our eldest Secondary artists, CFBL students have created stunning pieces in art, sculpture, and printmaking. We invite you to experience the results at the CFBL Salon on Tuesday, 10th June 5-7pm.

Every donation supports both environmental protection and the spirit of student-led change. Thank you for helping us make a difference.
