Story
Founded in June 2005, Sickle cell and Young Stroke Survivors is a registered charity that is based in London.
The charity supports children, young people and their families living with Sickle cell anaemia and two of its devastating complications - Childhood Stroke and MoyaMoya syndrome.
Sickle cell anaemia is prevalent in the Afro/Caribbean communities wherein most African communities consider it a stigma which results in many children, young people and their families experiencing mental distress and stigmatisation.
