Story
I am doing the head2head 42km walk on Sunday 10th September in memory of my cousin Caitriona Savage.
Caitriona was born in 1976, and she was sadly only 19 years old when she died from cystic fibrosis in December 1995. Due to the advances in medical treatment and drug research, if Caitriona was born today her quality of life living with CF and life expectancy would be dramatically different. She would likely live into her 40s, and in doing so would finish her Trinity science degree, have a career, be at the family weddings of her brother David and sister Patricia, and possibly have her own! She would know her sister-in-law Tara, her brother-in-law Steve and her lovely nieces Emily and Scarlett. She would be present rather than absent at all the Savage/Riney clan gatherings over the years.
So money donated to CF research really does make a difference.
Please spare €5/€10 for CF research and help continue the research and improve the lives of those with CF and their families.
