CGFC - Charity Football Match - 13th May, 2pm: Coaches vs Vets
Croxley Green FC is a non-profit organisation established in 1996 and has been providing the local community opportunities to focus on football.
CGFC are proud to support Winston's Wish, a children's bereavement charity that provides invaluable support to children and families that have lost someone close to them.
In 2010, Russell, a seasoned Coach, lost his wife, Caroline. Russell and his two kids, Harv and Liv, were helped first hand by Winston's Wish during this difficult time.
Soon after Liv, became an ambassador for the charity and has been working to raise awareness and monetary funds for Winston's Wish so they can continue their fantastic work.
As a local community Club we want to show our continued support to Winston's Wish and help them to continue to support children and families like Liv's when coping with a loss.
On Saturday, 13th May, 2pm at Reach Free School there will be a charity match where Coaches and Vets will play one another with all proceedings going to Winston's Wish, a charity very close to CGFC.
Any donations to support this event will be greatly appreciated by the Club and all families that Winston's Wish charity continues to support.
Let the battle commence!
