Why are we doing this?

I'm grateful to be recovering from the back injury that left me unable to hike for a few months. Now I'm regaining strenth - my partner and I want to help those who struggle.

Macmillan Cancer Support help victims and families deal with the devastating, and often longwinded, fight against cancer. Although in our personal situations we have the loving support of friends and family, not everyone has this privilege.

Nobody should be forced to tackle cancer alone. If you choose to donate, it’s these people you’ll be helping. People who don’t have the support of loved ones, people who need help with coping and a hand to hold while they battle through hard times.

Your money will go a long way, and even if you don’t have a lot to give, it will make a difference to those in need of Macmillan Cancer Support.
