On the 26th September, A large group of staff will be abseiling down the Norwich Forum to raise money for Star Throwers, an amazing cancer charity in Wymondham that supports those diagnosed with cancer, providing wellbeing services, community and most importantly time and information to become well-informed and have your questions answered.

Many of us haven't abseiled since those activity days at school, so it is a little out of sorts for us, but we will fight every impulse to freeze-up and not move, in the name of charity! There’ll are near 80 of us in total conquering the Forum that day, and I’m sure any all of us would appreciate your support!

Last year, a member of our team was diagnosed with breast cancer, and this has inspired us to organise events to raise money for Star Throwers and start a wider fundraising effort throughout the year, Challenge 150. Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of self-examination, to raise funds for cancer charities and to support them by volunteering our time.

'Why Challenge 150?' - the answer is simple; over 150 new breast cancer cases are diagnosed in the UK every day (Source: Cancer Research UK).
