We provide support and finance to improve the lives of ill children

Story

To mark Harley's 18th birthday, eighteen wonderful fundraisers will embark on a range of challenges and quests from organising cake sales in their communities to summiting mountains in faraway lands.

These events will take place over the course of the year leading up to the summer of 2024.

Together, and from different parts of the world, these fundraisers will unite to create one 'pot' of money to be distributed to eighteen children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The money could be used for a magical, memory-making trip or a piece of equipment they might need to help improve their quality of life.

We look forward to sharing updates about our wonderful fundraisers and the adventures and challenges they are working towards.

Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

Thank you for your support in this very special mission.

Harley Jae South raises awareness and provides vital equipment for children with life-limiting and life-changing conditions. The charity also makes donations to services such as schools, hospital wards and children’s hospices. Families can also apply to the charity directly for 'wishes' to be granted.

“We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to Harley Jae South for sending us on a dream holiday to Disneyland Paris. It was just such a wonderful trip from start to finish and the kids absolutely loved all of it: the rides, meeting all the characters, and watching all the shows. It would have been impossible for us to organise this ourselves and we never would have done it without the charity's generosity. It was such a lovely thing to happen to us after a difficult few years and will be something we will always treasure. We really had the best, most magical time, so a heartfelt thanks from all of us. Emily's family, Winchester.

This week will be the end of 6 months of training for a full Ironman that I never actually intended on doing (in my life). Since I was young, I was always told not to run because of hip issues and as a result, often used it as an excuse to not do certain physical things. Two years ago after watching the coaches from my gym, Innerfight, do an overnight challenge called 'Into The Dark', it peaked some interest about getting onto a bike. I began cycling the following week. With a very encouraging coach who slowly over time tricked me into one step after another, and some very convincing friends, who have encouraged me to do things that I never thought I was capable of, somehow unknowingly ended up here! I wanted to fundraise for Harley Jae South because my good friend Lucy has faced challenges far more difficult than any Ironman, and still comes out smiling each and every day with the goal of making another child’s life just a bit better through this charity! I know Harley Jae would have been proud looking down on his mum. Jamie, Challenge 18 Fundraiser.
