My son has Down syndrome and we have been attending Downright Excellent since he was 6 months old. I'd like to give something back for all of the incredible work they do for us and other families, so I've decided to try and swim the length of the English Channel in 21 hours over 2 days in my local pool, finishing on World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st March.

What is Downright Excellent?

Downright Excellent specialises in supporting children with Down syndrome and their families across London.

We provide educational interventions, expert guidance and social support that isn’t available to many families at a time when they most need it. We also work with schools and other professionals to understand the unique needs of children with Down syndrome.
