Story
From the London Marathon to the Tree of Hope 🌿
Thank you so much to everyone who supported us during the London Marathon fundraising —your generosity and encouragement meant the world!
We’re now continuing the journey by raising funds for a bronze leaf on the Tree of Hope at The Christie in Manchester 🌳—a lasting tribute to our beloved Chantal.
This leaf will be a symbol of hope, strength, and remembrance. It will honor Chantal’s memory and become part of a living tribute that brings comfort and inspiration to others at one of the UK’s leading cancer centres. Christies are in the unique position of having the UK’s leading specialists in ACC – Dr Rob Metcalf and Dr Joe Haigh, Dr Haigh and Jenni Hill were a huge support to Chantal, helping her to look at treatment options and Chantal wanted to share her tumour data with them to help with their research
💛 Our goal is £12,500 (£15,000 with gift aid)
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to placing this symbol of love and resilience on the Tree of Hope.
We know that Chantal would be incredibly proud of this fundraising effort—and true to her generous spirit, she would want nothing more than to help others on their journey.
🙏 Thank you for being part of this continuing journey in Chantal’s memory.
