Running the London Marathon in memory of Chantal Neal in aid of The Christie Charity in support of ACC research

On September 7th Chantal would have turned 51, to honour her birthday and in her words "her wonderful life" we are kick starting an effort to raise money for the Christie Charity which conducts research in to Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC).
Christies are in the unique position of having the UK’s leading specialists in ACC – Dr Rob Metcalf and Dr Joe Haigh – based at The Christie in Manchester. Dr Haigh and Jenni Hill were a huge support to Chantal and family, helping her to look at treatment options and Chantal wanted to share her tumour data with them to help with their research.
We will be doing many fundraising events to support The Christie in the next 6 months with the grand finale taking place in April when her running partner and close friend, Claire White will take on the challenge of running the London marathon in her honour. If you ever took a ride in Chantal's car you would hear the chiming of the many medals she won for the races she ran in the past 10 years, her dream was to run the London marathon so what better way to celebrate her life than to do this for her.
