Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
At the end of May, Scott and I will be taking on the Deadly Dozen mixed pairs! The Deadly Dozen is a hybrid fitness race consisting of 12 functional strength "Labours" (exercises) paired with 400m runs, totaling 12 rounds of intense, full-body work. The workout includes heavy carries, high-rep lunges, snatches, burpees, squats, and presses using kettlebells, dumbbells, and weight plates to test both strength and endurance. Yes, we're crazy. But we're doing it for a good cause!
Tŷ-Nant was established in June 1990. They are a small, independent, not-for-profit organisation, based in Cymmer, Port Talbot.
They are run completely by volunteers and funded solely by public donations, and we are using our Deadly Dozen competition as an opportunity to raise money for this incredible sanctuary, which is at capacity and in desperate need of support. We found our beautiful 13 year old Bella here, and the support they've offered has been incredible.
They were established in response to the problem of unwanted, stray and abandoned cats within the area. Since then hundreds of cats and kittens have passed through their care. Most have been successfully re-homed but others due to their temperament or illness have stayed at Tŷ-Nant.
