Story
Since 2017, Roots has been responding to the needs of Refugees in the Grande Synthe/ Dunkirk area.
The people Roots serve are in need of sustainable provision of basic services such as water and hygiene products. This is because the french state has not been willing to provide even the most essentail facilities in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Roots has been filling this gap, creating innovative solutions and ensuring that essentail services were delivered in a sustainable, dignified and secure manner to over 5,000 people.
We need your help to enable us to expand these services to include restarting our communication hub - where we will provide a heated enclosed environment to charge devices, utilise the wifi, and feel part of a community.
