Story
Post-pandemic, Pioneer Educational Trust set an ambitious aim to open Community Hubs at each of our schools to help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our communities. In September 2022, we launched our own charity, Pioneer Family Partnership, in order to raise monies through charity drives and bids to achieve this aim. To date, the charity has raised over £60k through securing bids to provide exercise classes to children and adults in the Foxborough ward. Over 250 people have benefited from these classes.
In order to make this sustainable and scale this approach for all schools, we have set ourselves the target to raise £100,000 so that we can:
• Develop an area of Foxborough Primary School as a Community Hub that can be accessed by the community throughout the day, in the evenings and at weekend;
• Recruit a Community Manager to lead this service and help scale the project to include all schools.
This year, therefore, we are looking to raise as much money as possible through our Charity Challenge to support Pioneer Family Partnership in achieving our dream to open this Community Hub
