On Friday December 5th we are holding our 2nd YAA CHARITY CHRISTMAS TRACTOR RUN when all sizes of tractors and other vehicles will be decorated with lights and other adornments and travel from Moor Farm at Cloughton through the villages of Burniston, Scalby, Newby & into Scarborough along the Marine Drive and back again to Moor Farm where they will partake of a Hog Roast Supper as well as take part in the charity auction and raffle. All are welcome to join them at Moor Farm for supper and the auction etc. This, we're sure you'll agree, is a fantastic sight for all to watch and enjoy. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a service the rural community have become dependant on now that the hospitals where vital treatment is administered are a greater distance from us. As a scattered rural community that is swelled in numbers by many tourists during the holiday season the Air Ambulance is called to our area regularly hence we think this a worthy cause that deserves our help. Please help us help our community and support our fundrasing event, all donations are greatly appreciated. Remember it costs approx £19,000 per day to keep the helicopters flying, all of which is fully funded by your kind donations.
