London marathon 2026

Afternoon all

At the beginning of this year, I tried my chances and entered the London marathon 2026 for the first time. Through luck, I was selected. As part of the marathon, I have decided to run for a charity in rayleigh and surrounding areas (supporting Carers And Families Together, SCAFT) with whom I have close connections and would like to raise money for this supporting charity. I would like to run this event as a gesture of goodwill, and to complete a challenge, I have no time set to complete this run but to only finish the marathon to support this excellent charity.

This hard working charity supports children ages 6-18 who are caring for their parent/guardian/sibling wheather it be for a disability, non terminal and terminal illness, etc. The children from this charity have said "SCAFT is our lifeline," or "I wouldnt be where I am today without SCAFT." These young carers are going through a tough time at such a young age, before they've reached adulthood so I politely say donations would be appreciated for a good cause.
